[ eiden knows well enough that rei is not one for fanfare or frivolity, especially if it gets in the way of science. however, he is definitely not immune to cozy nets, so:
rei will wake up from one of his cat naps with a parcel wrapped quite neatly in silvery paper with a black ribbon, textured shiny on the edges and matte down the center. inside of it, is an enormous, very soft, dark gray blanket with embroidery along the edges in a deep silver, hand-stitched into the shapes of falling feathers with a tiny little embroidered image of Father in the upper right hand corner done in silver and black thread (as if maybe he's flown along the pathway of those feathers.)
it's not just any blanket, however, it's actually weighted (comfortably) to a degree, like the feeling of a person very lightly draped over him. it's the perfect height for wandering around wrapped up in, isn't uncomfortable to drag around, and will completely envelope rei head to toe.
(at the bottom of the box is a thin sketchbook full of a handful of interesting sex toy designs with varying shapes and lengths, some of them dare we say, expereimental? there's a theme in the notations on the sides of maximizing the essence spread and shared between two (or more parties). at the end is a small sticky note with "different attachments for your machine in progress. your scientific feedback is always appreciated ;) let's experiment even more together." ]
