due to being from a literal sex game, rei comes with some unique features.
rei can self-lubricate from his ass because needing to have lube on hand all the time in a sex game can become quite inconvenient i imagine. i will keep this feature of his as a way to minimize any potential pain he could experience to prevent retraumatizing him (see above content warning), but if you don't want to mention it at all you do not have to. i will probably also not be mentioning it explicitly as i know it's not everyone's cup of tea.
another feature of rei's is that his essence (think of it as the electricity in our own bodies) has been known to provide aphrodisiacal qualities. feel free to have it affect your character as much or as little as you like. since people not from klein don't have essence (mostly), that can be the explanation for not being affected.

one final sex game trope is that rei has a condition where his essence destabilizes and causes immense pain and feathers to sprout all over his skin. the most effective way to stabilize his essence is to fuck him.
for golden peacock: Rei's condition is not an unknown within the Golden Peacock. The casino itself feeds off of essence in its own way, after all. Rei will find that sex with any Game 52-playing character will satisfy his condition as well. He will also find the effects of it manifesting on a timeline similar to that of his suit — it's like a two-for-one deal!

due to everything described above, rei has an incredibly unhealthy, awful, fucked up relationship with sex. he sees it purely as a tool, a means to an end. he rarely engages in sex for fun or pleasure or intimacy - even if it seems like he is, there is always an underlying reason whether it be an experiment or to gather information. he is even willing to engage in painful kinks he is absolutely not into in order to achieve the outcome he is looking for.
which just perfectly demonstrates his own priorities. he greatly prioritizes goals and outcomes over his own boundaries and personal comfort. it seems whatever he is researching or whatever his ultimate goal is if far more important than his own self. it shows a huge lack of self-respect, like his own boundaries are not important in the greater picture. he feels he can "handle" whatever is done to him since sex doesn't mean anything to him, whereas things such as his research are important to him.
